San Mateo County has scheduled a special election for May 3, 2011. It is a vote by mail only election. The issue is the County Supervisor seat which was held by Mark Church, he is now the County Assessor. There are 6 candidates, four prominent Democrats and two others we have not yet researched fully. We will communicate our findings.
